Choosing a package
 
We offer three main packages to help you decide on the level of website you want developing and to show you the approximate cost. We feel this is both helpful to you and speeds up the process.

It is often the case that your requirements do not fall specifically into any package. This is expected and not a problem. We will give you the best website for your needs and will not insist on limiting your website within any pre-requisites. Therefore, these packages are a good guide but not fixed.

If you require an e-commerce site please click here - e-commerce is a complex seperate service with completely different design criteria.

Working out your requirements

It is recommended that you spend some time working out the requirements for your website.

  • How many pages would you expect to have?
  • Will the page content change regularly?
  • Will you need the visitor to store any information on your site?
  • Are you likely to need a database for retrieving and storing product/customer information?
  • Do you have an existing website that requires redesign? A good guide is to look at the options available below and once we have looked at your existing site we will calculate a cost based on code and design re-use.

The WebBasic package is for websites which require little updating. Essentially information websites to give you a professional web prescence with little need to change information.

The hosting package will be cheap due to the simple nature of the website (this would drastically increase if you needed a database or content management system).

Includes an annual fee to the webhost for 'hosting' your website and maintaining your email account

The WebMedium package is for websites which require regular updating or some form of client interaction and information storage. For instance a site which needs to gather personal information such as forename, surname, address etc.

To store data we need a database facility (which unfortunately means more expense for the higher specification hosting package.

Depending on your requirements this package can also include a basic content management section to allow you to update certain areas of the webpages. (many clients find this adequate for their needs, however, the more complex the requirement the more coding is needed. This can result in costs rising).
